Pilates Ball

Many people use a Pilates ball to engage in exercises that they couldn’t do without one. Using a ball adds a lot of difficulty to the exercises. It also promotes the constant use of all your core muscles so you get an even tighter tummy.

There are various sizes of Pilates balls that you can choose from. The general rule is that when you are sitting on the ball you should have about a 50 degree angle to your knees. There are generally charts that you can find to figure out what size ball you will need for your approximate height.

When you are blowing up your Pilates ball, remember to not blow it up too much. There needs to be enough give to it that a little seat is created when you sit on it. Using one of these balls will take some practice, but once you get it you will have a great workout.
